Got a whole folder?

Queue up to 500 photos at once

Fit every photo inside 3840 × 2160 — or 7680 × 4320 on a desktop — without cropping or stretching. The rule step states the factor each photo needs, and each finished row says how much of it the model drew.

Step 1 of 3 · Files

Drop photos or a folder — or one photo to review.

A directory or a selection becomes a queue with one rule for every picture in it. A single photograph — dropped, picked or pasted — opens the review studio instead, with a before and after at 100%.

Pixels are read and worked in this tab; model files travel to it, never the other way.

What you are shown before anything runs

— and — minutes

files · tiles · milliseconds a tile, measured over real tiles cut from your own photographs a moment ago, and the name of the graph those numbers describe.

The blanks are blank on purpose. Nothing on this page quotes a duration it has not timed on the machine it is running on, which is why the estimate arrives after the set and not before it.

Model weights come from our model file server only when you press the control that names their size. Everything else — the runtime, the decoding, the inference, the archive — is served from this domain and executed here.

What this does differently

It states the factor before it runs, and it does not call resampling AI. A model magnifies by three (ESPCN) or four (Real-ESRGAN); a photo that needs six times to reach 4K gets four times of reconstruction and the rest resampled, and its row says exactly that. 8K is offered on desktop browsers only, checked against the bitmap ceiling. For HD and Full HD, use the HD photo converter.

What it will not do

  • No “8× AI” or “16× AI”: four times is the most a model here reconstructs.
  • 8K is not offered on iPhone or iPad.
  • It never crops or stretches to fill the frame.

Questions about this

Is it real 4K?
It is 3840 × 2160 pixels, fitted. How much of that a model drew depends on the factor: Real-ESRGAN reconstructs at most 4×, and anything past that is its result resampled — each row says which. A 640-pixel photo taken to 4K is mostly resampling.
Can I go to 8K?
On a desktop browser, yes: 7680 × 4320 is 33.2 megapixels, under the 100-megapixel ceiling a folder run allows. It is not offered on iPhone or iPad, where every limit halves.
Why is a 4K run slow?
The time depends on the size of your source, not the target: the model works on tiles of the original. The queue measures it on your processor and quotes a range before it starts.
Is anything uploaded?
No. Every photo is worked on this device; only a model file travels, once, from our model file server.
