Got a whole folder?

Queue up to 500 photos at once

Pick HD or Full HD and every photo is enlarged to fit inside it — never cropped, never stretched. A photo already larger is kept as it is.

Step 1 of 3 · Files

Drop photos or a folder — or one photo to review.

A directory or a selection becomes a queue with one rule for every picture in it. A single photograph — dropped, picked or pasted — opens the review studio instead, with a before and after at 100%.

Pixels are read and worked in this tab; model files travel to it, never the other way.

What you are shown before anything runs

— and — minutes

files · tiles · milliseconds a tile, measured over real tiles cut from your own photographs a moment ago, and the name of the graph those numbers describe.

The blanks are blank on purpose. Nothing on this page quotes a duration it has not timed on the machine it is running on, which is why the estimate arrives after the set and not before it.

Model weights come from our model file server only when you press the control that names their size. Everything else — the runtime, the decoding, the inference, the archive — is served from this domain and executed here.

What this does differently

A target picker rather than a factor: choose 1280 × 720, 1920 × 1080 or 2560 × 1440 and the factor is computed for each photo from its own size and shape. Fit means the whole photo is kept — no crop to 16:9 and no stretch. For 3840 × 2160 and above, the 4K image upscaler page says how much of the result a model can actually draw.

What it will not do

  • It never crops to 16:9 or stretches a photo to fill the box.
  • It does not shrink a photo already larger than the box.
  • Messaging apps re-compress photos; send the file as a document to keep it intact.

Questions about this

What does 'HD' mean here?
A screen size: HD is 1280 × 720 pixels and Full HD is 1920 × 1080. The photo is enlarged until one side meets that box; the other side follows its own shape.
Will it crop my photo to 16:9?
No. A portrait photo stays portrait: it fits inside the box with its height meeting the box's height, and nothing is cut off or stretched.
My photo is already bigger than 1080p. What happens?
Nothing is done to it: it is kept as it is, and its row says so.
Does converting to HD make it sharper?
It makes it bigger. Whether the new pixels carry real detail depends on the engine and the photo, and the detail check says which.
